Personal thoughts:
This perfume/cologne I can speak for myself entirely. Because somewhat crazy to say this is actually one I use. I will share why in a bit here. When you first spray it you do get hit with Raspberry. There isn't much of a tart smell from the top notes but it is bright. You get a sweet bright scent once you spray it on. But the White Musk comes through pretty quickly. Based on the notes above and even on the Jo Malone website for this particular perfume/cologne, you would think that it's sweet, creamy, and clean. Which to be quite honest those scents I love on my wife personally. But the smell from this perfume/cologne isn't super sweet and creamy by any means. What you smell predominantly is Raspberry and White Musk. Which the Musk takes the front spot after it settles down.
My wife bought this perfume/cologne originally for herself as well as the other limited edition ones that came out along with this scent. She never tested it in store or anything but saw some reviews and thought this would be a great purchase for her. Since she knew that I loved the sweet and creamy smells on her. But once it came in and she smelt it she felt like it was to musk forward. Which isn't always a bad thing by any means. Yet, she felt that the perfume/cologne sat more in the middle as a unisex scent. After smelling it myself I could agree with her. The musk stood out the most and though it's the drydown/base scent of the perfume/cologne. It dominates over a lot of the other notes. She asked if I wanted to keep it because she said it smelt better on me. Which I didn't hesitate of course. I think personally this scent is really good for people that has a stronger scent to themselves chemistry wise. If you're one that musky scents sit well on on you this falls in place with what would suite you. Because for me personally musky, citric, and woodsy scents fit best my chemistry.
Rating: 7/10
Reason: It's clean, fresh, musky, with enough sweetness to remind you it's there. Yet, there is no creaminess to this perfume/cologne. Once again though if clean, fresh, musky scents sit well with you. I would def give this one a try. However I would start small or go to a nearby perfumery and see if they have any to try it out first.
Current Pricing: $168.00 Is the price worth it verdict: No - Unless you like the scent yourself and it suites your chemistry. Sample first before purchasing.
